Private Access to The American Ancestor's Family WebSite

    The American Family Research Center maintains genealogical records only on  related families in it's American Family History Archives.

    The Institute is in the process of publishing our American Ancestor Family History Book, which is due out in before or during the year 2000.  You have a unique opportunity to provide your family connections and story for publication in this special limited addition American Ancestry Family addition.  The price of the book is not known at this time, because it isn't finished.  But you can participate in its success.  To learn more about how you can participate in this publication click here: American Ancestry Family Heritage Book

    As of May 1, 1998 the American Family Research Center's Archives contain records on over 2000 individuals and the list is growing almost daily.

    Relatives and family members can access the online version of  The American Ancestor Family Archive using their access ID and password. Relatives wishing to receive an access ID and Password should send their request to The American Ancestor Family Research Center


Public Access to The Family History Database

    For privacy reasons, access to The American Ancestors Family Research WebSite is restricted to family members and relatives. Public access is being given through e-mail queries and access to a list of the surnames found in our archival records. If you suspect that you may be related to one of our surname lines please send us a query. We will be glad search our records for specific names, provided the query is sent in the following format:


Instructions for Sending Queries

    Before releasing genealogical information on individuals in our database we must first prove that the individual in question is related to you.  In order for us to do that, we will need to compare your ancestor's genealogical and biographical information with our archival  information. If we can prove a connection, we will be glad to share with you our research on that ancestor as well as the family lines and provide you with annual membership access to the private WebSite, for a nominal fee (find out more). Below is a list of the information we will need to do an accurate search. The more of it you send the better our chance of making an accurate connection. Please note that information with a * beside it is required information. Queries without the required information will not be processed or replied to.

Send the following information to us by e-mail  or by snail-mail:

* Your Name (First, Middle, Maiden, Last):
* Your Relation to the Ancestor in Question: (Great Great Grandfather, etc)
* (Send lineage listing, descendant chart or pedigree chart showing your relation to the ancestor in question. To     see examples click on the links above. These can be sent in an e-mail message or in an e-mail file attachment.     We also accept (and prefer) genealogy program files in GEDCOM and Family Tree Maker® formats.
